The talk will be an examination of various impulses that run through the many groups engaged in men's work and a discussion of what male initiation (and the lack of it) means.

Walton is a writer and storyteller. He has held a life-long interest in myth, story, and in the power of story to transform the paradigms and frames in which we live.
Walton is one of the leaders of the Minnesota Men’s Conferences and is currently working, with Ben Dennis, on an anthology of selected tales and myths that have been shared in the past 40 years of the Minnesota Men's Conference.
