In this talk, I outline the leading edge of men’s work, encompassing three distinct paths: initiation and rites of passage, ego development, and spiritual awakening. I argue that a holistic approach requires stewarding all three rather than elevating one at the expense of the others. Drawing on mythopoetic traditions, developmental psychology, Integral theory, and my framework of the Organic Masculine, I offer design principles for practitioners seeking to forge whole, mature men.
